Raising resilient children in an unpredictable world
How do I prepare my children for a future I can't even predict? In today's world of shifting global politics, rapid AI advancement, and economic whiplash, many parents are asking themselves this question. I know I am. Sharing lessons from my experience of constantly moving and raising five multicultural third-culture children across Africa and turning to my husband, Eusebe Adje (goes by 'Adje'), for his generational 'tough love' wisdom from Benin where he grew up, I wrote my second book titled DIPLOMATICALLY 2: Django Parenting, A Guide for Raising Resilient Third-Culture Children.
I identified the 23 Django Parenting for Resilience Principles™ for raising hardworking, self-sufficient children who are prepared for any challenge in life. Adje's childhood nickname was 'Django' (meaning 'the wild one') and this parenting style transformed him from a rebellious boy into a disciplined man of faith.
